Health related fitness is about improving your health, but skill related fitness is about improving your skills. Skills such as whats needed to play football.

The skill related components of physical fitness are agility, balance, power, speed, reaction time, and coordination.
Why does a person not have to be a good athlete to be physically fit?
A person dosn't have to be an athlete to be physically fit, they could just be everyday people that want to better themselves.
Why is it important to know your current level of health-related fitness?
It is extremly important to know how much weight you are able to lift. If your weight is too heavy you could injure yourself by pulling a muscle. Its okay to test yourself but don't over do it.
